Transforming Communities

Central States Development Partners, Inc. is proud to announce being awarded $75 million in New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) authority from the U.S. Treasury's CDFI Fund. Central States is a national CDE that assists economically distressed communities by providing capital to support lasting job creation and expand access to critical healthcare and social services. This is Central States’ eighth NMTC allocation, having previously received $270 million in NMTC allocation.

These investments have supported projects with a combined total cost of over $1.3 billion, creating and retaining 17,742 jobs, expanding critical community services, and revitalizing urban and rural areas in need.

Central States delivers lasting change that fosters opportunity and growth. These projects focus on addressing significant community needs, supporting economic growth, and enhancing access to essential resources in low-income communities across the nation.
